Murray/Vizner defeated Max and Marin Cilic 6-2, 6-7, 10-8 in the first round of the Paris Masters. After losing the first set easily, Max and Marin fought back to take the 2nd set in a tense tiebreaker. They led early in the CTB, but Murray/Vizner clawed back to get even and eventually took the match on their first match point. This ends the 2008 season for Max.

Max and Rohan lost to Parrott/Polasek in the final in St. Petersburg. The opponents came back to win 3-6, 7-6, 10-8. Max's last tournament of the year will be the Paris Masters.

An easy win in the semifinals put Max and Rohan Bopanna through to the final in St. Petersburg. After a close first set, Max and Rohan earned a late break and never looked back, defeating Mertinak/Zovko 7-5, 6-2. They both excelled on their service games which was a major factor in securing the win.

Max and Rohan Bopanna defeated Kunitsyn/Safin 6-4, 3-6, 13-11 in the quarterfinals of St. Petersburg. Their opponents won five more points in total, but Max and Rohan came up big when it counted most. They'll play Mertinak/Zovko for the chance to play in the finals.

Max, partnering Rohan Bopanna in St. Petersburg, won his first round doubles match against Youzhny/Zverev in straight sets. He and Bopanna won 6-3, 6-4 and converted 3/4 break point chances.

Max and partner Tommy Robredo lost a closely fought match to Coetzee/Moodie in the 2nd round of the Madrid Masters. Their opponents won 6-7, 7-6, 10-8 to advance.

Max continued his winning ways, starting off with a win at the Madrid Masters. Parntering Spainard Tommy Robredo, the two upended Calleri/Ferrer 6-3, 6-4 to advance. They'll face the #8 seeded team Coetzee/Moodie and Max/Tommy look to spoil their opponents Masters Cup chances.

Congratulations to Max and Andy, as they defeated Petzschner/Peya 6-1, 7-5 to capture the title in Vienna! It's the 2nd title of the year for Max.
The draw is out in Madrid and Max is partnering Tommy Robredo. They face Calleri/Ferrer in the 1st round and the winner will play the #8 seeds Coetzee/Moodie.

Max and Andy Ram again came back from the brink of being a set down, as they defeated the #4 seeds Bhupathi/Knowles in a close CTB. They won 2-6, 6-3, 10-8 and advance to the finals, where they'll play either Lopez/Verdasco or Petzschner/Peya.

Max and Andy Ram came back from a set down to defeat Bolelli/Seppi in the quarterfinals of Vienna, winning 4-6, 6-2, 10-4. After losing the first set, it was all Max and Andy as they dominated and controlled the rest of the match. Their semifinal opponent has not been determined at this point.

Max and Andy Ram rolled over Koubek/Moser in the 1st Round of the Bank Austria Tennis Trophy tournament in Vienna, winning 6-2, 6-1 and moving onto the quarterfinals. Their opponents failed to earn a single break point opportunity, and Max and Andy won 66% of the total points. Their opponents are yet to be determined.
